Maison Fauve-MARISA Top Sewing Pattern

MARISA is a little top that has nothing classic about it and yet will be the perfect basic to be declined in all your favourite fabrics. Its nicely worked back, its comfortable but supported cut, its round neckline underlined by a slit in the middle front, these are all details that give it character.

Whether you choose to sew a sleek top or add buttoned embellishments, Marisa will be the quick and easy sewer to give your outfit a twist.

Sewing level :  Beginner. The technical points are the making of the back fold and the bias of the neckline.

Supplies

- Fabric for a width of 140cm:
From 34 to 38: 120 cm
From 40 to 46: 145 cm
From 48 to 52 : 155 cm
- 5 buttons of 12mn (for the buttoned back and neckline version)

Suggested fabric
A poplin, a crepe, a twill, in viscose, cotton, silk, linen but also lace, a plumetis, or an embroidery anglaise. I recommend a soft fabric to highlight the back fold.
