A new coat joins the Maison Fauve wardrobe, and it's a piece that doesn't lack allure. TIGRIS is a coat with a studied construction, available in 2 lengths. Its straight cut and well-placed shoulders emphasized by a buttoned placket give it a slender silhouette. The line is supported by a shoulder clip. Nothing is left to chance: an officer's collar with reworked proportions on a signature crossing, piped pockets at chest height, patch pockets, and the back is embellished with a slit... TIGRIS has all the makings of a masterpiece!
Sewing level:intermediate for the short version without welt pocket, advanced for the long version with center back slit and welt pocket assembly. Stitches include welt pocket, back slit and collar.

-130 cm fusible interfacing for collar, facing, welt pocket entry and bottom of bust and sleeve pieces. We use Vilene G700 in our video.
Thermobond the bottom of your bust and sleeve pieces with 3 cm high strips for a well-defined bottom of coat and sleeve.
Suggested Fabric
A woollen fabric with hold, tweed or even gabardine, weighing around 300 to 650g/m2 to highlight the straight cut and the line of the collar and shoulders.
