Belle Épine is a charming boho-style top with a decidedly summery feel. Delicate and ultra-feminine, it stands out with its radiating bust darts, a V-neckline at the front and back (cut to allow for bra wear), elegant tie straps, and a shaped, gathered ruffle. The pattern is fully lined, with the inner layer featuring classic bust darts for structure.   Upper Top without ruffle: 34-36: 65 cm, 38-44: 80 cm, 46-50: 100 cm, 52: 115 cm

  Under Top: 34-48: 60cm, 50: 80 cm, 52: 100 cm

  • 35 cm of fusible interfacing

Fabrics

Light weight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with more or less hold depending on the desired effect on the ruffles. Your fabric must mark well with the iron and not deform too much: viscose, tencel, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin, or twill. Openwork fabrics such as lace are also interesting because the pattern provides for a lining.
