Maison Fauve-PENELOPE Dress Sewing Pattern

There are some clothes that you slip into without thinking because you know they make you look beautiful and can follow you to any occasion. This is what I had in mind when I created PENELOPE: a pretty dress wrap comfortable and flattering for all figures, a little retro but feminine in the devil with its buttoned bodice and always the Fauve detail: a pleated work on the shoulder and beautiful sleeves.

And as nothing is more pleasant than to adapt your pattern, the beautiful PENELOPE will allow you to sew a skirt wrap very well cut and fast to sew but also a very beautiful blouse (you will have to adapt the pattern a little in this case but don't panic it's very simple and we explain everything to you!)

Sewing level : Advanced. The technical points are the shoulder pleats, the belt assembly and the facing assembly.

34: 190 cm
36-42: 220 cm
44-48: 230 cm
50-52: 260 cm
Blouse version:
34-44: 130 cm
46-52: 160 cm
Skirt version:
34-40: 150 cm
42-46: 160 cm
48-52: 195 cm
- 7 buttons of 12mm (9 for the blouse version)
- Thermal adhesive for the waistband adapted to your choice of fabric (we use G700 from Vilene)

- 1m of straight iron-on thread

Suggested fabric
A light, soft fabric, such as viscose, cotton, linen or silk, poplin, crepe, satin, fabrics between 100 and 180 g/m2.
